Detailed Itinerary
Day 01 : Delhi - Shimla
Rover Holidays representative will pick up you from Delhi Airport or Railway Station. Then you will be transferred to Shimla – the capital city of Himachal Pradesh. On arrival, check-in at your hotel. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 02 : Shimla
Take your breakfast at the hotel. Embark on Shimla sightseeing tour visiting Jakhoo Hills & Temple, Sankat Mochan Temple, Christ Church, Colonial Houses, Kali Bari Temple, Summer Hill, Viceregal Lodge (Indian Institute of Advanced Studies), Shimla State Museum, Prospect Hill, Chadwick Falls, etc. In the evening, stroll in the renowned shopping places of Shimla – the Mall and the Ridge. Dinner & overnight will be at the hotel.
Day 03 : Shimla - Manali
Take a relaxed breakfast at the hotel. And then drive to Manali – one of the most enchanting & picturesque hill stations in Himachal Pradesh and India. It is also called as India’s Switzerland. On arrival at Manali, check-in at your hotel. Dinner & overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 04 : Manali
Have a very hearty breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy sightseeing tour in Manali. Major tourist attractions in Manali are Hadimba Devi Temple, Manu Temple, Tibetan Monastery, Vashist Village & Temple, Hot Water Springs, etc. In time return back to hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 05 : Manali – Excursion to Nearby Places
Enjoy hearty breakfast at the hotel and then take full day excursion to nearby places. Visit and explore nearby places like Kothi Gorge, Gulaba, Marhi, Rohtang Pass, Solang Valley, etc. Dinner & overnight will be at the hotel.
Day 06 : Manali - Delhi
After breakfast drive to Delhi. On arrival in Delhi, check-in at hotel for dinner & overnight stay.
Day 07 : Delhi - Agra - Delhi
After hearty breakfast at the hotel, drive towards Agra visiting en route Mathura – the birth place of Hindu Lord Krishna. On arrival in Agra, first of all visit the magnificent Taj Mahal – one of the Seven Wonders of the World – the ultimate symbol of eternal love. This beautiful love monument was built by mughal emperor Shah Jahan in the memory of his most darling wife, Mumtaz Mahal. Later visit the Agra Fort. Also visit the Akbar’s Tomb at Sikandra. Later, drive back to Delhi and check-in at your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 08 : Delhi Sightseeing + Departure
Take your breakfast. Go for half-day sightseeing tour of Delhi visiting its historical monuments like Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Qutub Minar, Humayun’s Tomb, Rajghat, Lotus Temple, India Gate, Old Fort, President House, Parliament House, etc. Finish your last minute shopping. Relax. After a farewell dinner at hotel, Rover Holidays representative will transfer you to Delhi Airport / Railway Station to board flight / train to your onward / home destination.
